Townsend Bell's motorsports travels have taken him to Europe in the FIA Formula 3000 Championship and back to the United States in a variety of series. He won the 2001 Indy Lights title, has competed in CART and now is back in the IndyCar Series. Bell competed in his first Indianapolis 500 in 2006.
